Multi-Sports Annual Derby Day

On Wednesday 9th August Shenley Multisports invited the holiday scheme of Woughton Leisure Centre to come to the centre for a tournament.
Hopefully, this can be the start of an annual summer event between the two schemes.

A shield has been bought by Shenley Leisure Centre for the winning scheme to take away and have engraved.

Although Shenley won 3 out of the 4 events this does not show a clear reflection of how well Woughton performed in the games, narrowly missing out 3-2 after coming back from 2-0 down in dodge ball. Also, having their last penalty kick superbly saved in a football penalty shoot out after a draw in normal time. 
 
Well done to Team Shenley. Thanks to Team Woughton for making the trip to us, all the participants for taking part and all the staff for their continuous hard work and arranging such a historic day between the two schemes.
